Bulletproof Backpack Torture Test

Bulletproof Backpacks – how do they REALLY work, what will they stop and will you survive? 

We took the top-selling Bulletproof Backpacks and tested it against the newcomer – The Bodyguard Switchblade –  to see how they stacked up.

First, we went to the studio and had men, women, and students of all sizes try them on and give their thoughts.

Next, we took the backpacks to the range and put them through our Torture Test to see which ones can really protect you and your children.

The Competitive Analysis

There are two things you care about when it comes to body armor – what it will stop and how much of your body it protects. Here we had people from students and adults from 5 feet to 6 foot 6 use and wear the top bulletproof backpacks and give you their reactions.

The Torture Test

When it comes to bulletproof protection you have only TWO factors that matter – penetration (will the round get through) and blunt force trauma (will the energy from the cause you severe injury or death). Since we couldn’t convince anyone to wear them for the testing, we convinced some watermelons instead.
