Don’t Be Shy…RIP IT!!
The Bodyguard Backpack is meant to do two things – conceal your armor and be used under stress. When you first get your Bodyguard, it will take a few times for you to get used to how it deploys – STRAIGHT UP AND OVER. Make sure your ripcords are free of the velcro before you pull. Check out the videos below for set up and proper deployment.
To Ensure proper performance of you Bodyguard Backpack
- Make sure the shoulder straps on the backpack are snug.
- Secure the belt.
- Clip the chest strap (optional).
- Grip the ripcords and pull straight up, free from the velcro and over.
You may need to adjust the shoulder straps depending on your height. If the front plate carrier on the backpack doesn’t clear your head – you may need to shorten the straps or extend to shoulder straps. The protection should cover your vital target areas. Some people have a tendency to have the armor sit too low. If it clears your head correctly, the armor will site correctly.
The Bodyguard CCW Armor Jackets are even more simple. The only “adjustment” is to make sure the front armor sits squarely in the front pockets. After you put the jacket on with the armor, adjust in the mirror to ensure no wrinkling or creasing in the front. That’s it.
